Hi and seasons greetings to all. Come boxing day my "nav" and I are away for eight days to rest up from the kids. On checking the old Kontiki645 I found both batteries pancaked. Strange seeing as we have only been back from a 2500 miler seven weeks ago. After bringing the leisure battery back to life the Vehicle battery would not hold any charge above 11.5 so a cell was down. Now for the Kontiki I needed a 12v 110ah 950amp. Fiat offered me a new one----£288---. I tried various agents, £105?? £217,£234, even contacted Platinum. So it looked like the holiday was maybe a wash out. But then I received an email saying that the battery, both in capacity spec and size I needed was in stock and ready for next day delivery---£134-- p&p included. So if like me you keep a diary of contacts just in case add--- batteryandbulbs@btconnect.com-- to your list.
