I am thinking of going to Rothesay in May for the jazz festival :thumbs: has anyone got any useful info regarding best places to stay ferry etc. Amount of midges to expect at that time of year and ways to cope with the little blighters :evil: if they are in residence!!

Thanks for that neil i must say its not a particularly inspiring video but neverthess it was kind of you to post it. I was hoping there were some folks who could recommend camp site or even wild camping but having now got up to date with the bute jazz site http://www.butejazz.com they are allowing motorhomes to stay on the promenade free which will be great.
