It is possible that if you had a NCB when taking out a policy you could lose this entitlement after 2 years of motorhome cover with Comfort Insurance.
This is because your policy with them may not have required a no claims bonus in the first place and does not continue to contribute to one. Therefore if an existing NCB is not used for a period of 2 years or more it may not be accepted by other, future, insurers.
To clarify our own position (we insure through Comfort on our own motorhome), I spoke with Comfort today and they have confirmed that they are aware of this concern.They have decided that if previous bonus can be confirmed to them they will hold the details on file for when/if you leave them in the future to be able to confirm your entitlement to your next insurer.
