Having read some of neilmac's blogs we decided to join. We are just entering our second year as MHrs. We have a Vantage Neo that was bought 2nd hand direct from Scot at Vantage. We cannot recommend them higher! The clincher on the deal was the one careful previous owner - Johnny Walker the radio 1/2 DJ.
We have only done weekends up to 5 days in the first year and only in the uk so far!
Just booked to go to Northern Spain this summer. Any advice welcomed, we are not new to Spain nor it's language.
Hope to hear from other members and contribute on a regular basis to the forums and reviews

Big thanks for the welcomes. Makes us feel part of the community already.
We had already spotted the Aires books and will be ordering on-line soon. We knew that Johnny Walker was into motor homes as he had said so many times on his radio shows.
We will keep posting our travels and any tips we have and hope to bump into many of you on our future travels.
Just bought two memory foam toppers from bodymouldmattresses.co uk. Great value compared to Duvalay and because they are local to us in West Sussex they delivered them to home. We got great service and want to make sure others can benefit too

Hi Paul
First to say you have made a great choice. The Neo is a great layout and Vantage in our view the best value quality small hi top around. We see few Vantage machines at the sites we use, but always make a point of knocking on the door and yet to find anyone not delighted with their choice.
Second the new Neo has a lot of updated changes over ours. So we are not sure of the current spec. We certainly are pleased with the electric step and solar panel and use our beds as two singles - so much easier to make up etc. We have two memory foam toppers that roll up against the back doors during the day and sleep in out well sleeping pods ( pear shaped sleeping bags) which we keep above th cab during the day. We have never used the large table and its stays at home.
We love that even after 5 years and 22000 miles the interior still looks almost new. We have travelled to France and Spain and a lot around the UK, and just spent 10 weeks in Australia in hired vans the same size and could not wait to get back to our own van.
We will look out for you as we travel around.

We have had some wonderful hotel holidays in Northern Spain and plan to return there soon with our motorhome and collie pup though I am worried he won't enjoy the crossing much. We look forward to reading your tips and recommendations as we plan to go when the weather is cooler. Have a wonderful trip! Also, any recommendation for decent UK wildcamping stops would be much appreciated
