As we draw towards the end of another year and the start of the third year for Club Motorhome we would like to update you as to how we spent our year and on what is planned for the Club Motorhome website.
Personally, we have a busy time with motorhome travels including Portugal, northern Spain, France and the UK not to mention enjoying a rally earlier this year in Denia on the Costa Blanca. Our beloved motorhome proved invaluable this year when we had to make a sad and unscheduled trip to the UK by allowing us independence but closeness to our bereaved family.
This was also the first time we checked Digger, our new addition, into the UK. Newly qualified to travel with his rabies clearance and new passport we took the trip on the Eurotunnel for the first time in ages, usually going for the cheaper option of a ferry. For a stray he doesn't half cost a lot! It was worth it though as he thoroughly enjoyed the English parks and other friendly English dogs. Two young lads were so taken with him that they judged him suitable as a potential father for pups with their lovely border collie, Holly. The lad's Mum will no doubt be very pleased that we took preventative action at the vets soon after acquiring our boy Digger!
At the time of writing this we have just arrived back in Spain for the winter and no trips are scheduled until February when we go back again to the UK (this time to greet our fifth grandchild) we can settle down to some work on Club Motorhome.
In the coming weeks you can expect new and revised Aires in France and Spain that we have personally visited and we will also be using our time to make contact with more pubs for adding to our growing UK Pub Stopover database. We also will be incorporating some fairly major changes to the appearance and function of the website.
We are really pleased with membership numbers and are dedicated to ensuring that we continue to give value for money. So please let us know what, if anything, we can do to make the website more valuable to you.
