Martins tips for saving money Here may be of some use to those that use a prepaid card in europe .
I must admit the one time I used a prepaid card it worked fine but the Halifax clarity gets my vote these days used it in and out of europe with no problems.Worth a read ,In my opinion. :thumbs:

Nationwide get my vote also, we have the flexiplus which at ten pounds a month sounds a lot until you consider it includes breakdown cover, mobile phone cover, health cover( with a modest sum for declared medical conditions, no fee withdrawals from ATMs worldwide, extra 12 months extended warranty on appliances and interest on a balance of £2500 of 3%. Difficult to beat. Some are paying £120 a year for EU breakdown cover.
