Hi all Wishing to pass on information.
Later this year Dover Council (Kent) is set to BAN all motorhomes from the seafront - currently allowing parking for motorhomes.
As a Dover Motor-Home resident that has walked the seafront daily for 11 years, I already make regular contact with motor-home visitors that spend lots of money in local stores, chip shops etc. They often ask the location of the Restaurants, DE Bradley Wharf discount shopping centre, the Town Centre, The Castle and other local attractions and of course toilet facilities. With the recent Ferry disputes causing havoc to docking the ferry companies send those they cannot accommodate to the seafront to pass time.

A 5th Floor resident in the Gateway flats (Ex Council flats), regularly bombards councillors and newspapers – complaining of urination in bushes and sea – waste and litter. This week his photos of a German VW Campervan occupant urinating on the road, taken from his balcony, have been published in the Dover-Express with his disgusted comments and the newspaper asks what other people think. The comments will be passed to Dover Council for their action.
We all know that the majority of motorhomes have their own shower/toilet facilities and small campervans often do not.
The direction signage is poor on Dover Seafront and there are NO TOILET facility SIGNS.
There are NO public toilets on the front AFTER 4PM (The only toilet is 20p key access from shop kiosk not situated in centre of seafront - and only in summertime in good weather) and the reduced number of waste-bins are emptied by seagulls.

The photo of the large extending side home is from Essex – the kid filled the rubbish bin just after it had been emptied.
