First outing in Sally 2

Off for the weekend to Moreton in Marsh for a 'National' meet of our walking group.

Here we are on the site, which is 5 minutes walk into the town, with the new Cotswold local hospital behind

The weather was glorious and we enjoyed some good walks. A picture below of one of the many lovely houses in the area

We managed to operate everything OK, and did quite a lot of re-arranging things to make best use of our available space. She is only about a foot longer than Sally 1, but also 4 inches wider, making her feel a lot more spacious - with the different layout. we are very pleased with everthing and we're all set now for taking off on our long trip.

When we got back home the postman had delivered the new V5, so now we have it in our hands we know we can go on our booked ferry as planned :-)

Achievements

We are Edward and Frances, motorhoming in Sally. We had Sally I, an Autotrail, for five years and have now had Sally II, an Autosleeper for 18 months, so we consider ourselves reasonably experienced motorhomers by now. We spend several months each year travelling in Europe, and (5-day!) weekends in England walking with a group of like-minded folk through central southern England. About 1/3 of our life is spent in the motorhome. We only use campsites occasionally, preferring to stop and go in accordance with a general plan which is there to be changed according to whim and what happens on the day.
