Hi Guys, stayed here last night what a fantastic pub, it is a must stopover if you are in the area. John the landlord is very friendly & welcoming, i sent him an email on Sunday to see if we could stop over on the Tuesday and he responded very quickly.

John came out to greet us when we arrived just before 1900hrs on Tuesday evening, he gave us a hand out with the details of the site, Free Wifi, toilets, shower, water, discharge etc. We went in the pub to eat and had a great meal cooked up by his wife Jen, the real ale was on form also. We will be back when next in the area. Cost £5 per night refunded if you eat in the pub & £2.50 for hook up. The food is very reasonably priced, all in all a great stop over. There is also a caravan Club Certified site next door with 5 pitches also run by John & his wife at £15 per night with £5 refunded if you eat in the pub.

Hi Pat & I stayed here on the 8th July 2015. Can only agree with Stevegos, excellent place to stay , made very welcome we had a meal in the evening which was really excellent , best Gamon dish i have had for a long time & Pats Scampy was spot on , highly recomment eating there.. Also free 3mg internet in the car park.
We couldn't book as there was no answer to the phone calls, they were away for the morning in their motorhome .But we had no problem parking up . But i can imagine it could get booked up as Stevegos says at weekends . try it you will enjoy the peace & quiet.

A lovely and very welcoming pub (and brewery) for motorhomers. The main carpark is level and large with space for at least 2 motorhomes. Pub and area is very clean and tidy. The area is in a small village which is quiet.

Costs are £5 per night which is waived if you book a table and eat in the pub. There is also toilets, shower, water and disposal at no extra cost plus a pot wash area. The electric ehu costs £2.50 if you wish to use it irrespective whether you eat in the pub or not.

Owner said they can get busy and booked up at weekends so advise to book in if you wish to go.

They also have a CL site next door which costs much more.
