It's all Tom1's fault!

Sitting outside our local lakeside pub during the recent heatwave got me thinking about buying a small dinghy to learn to sail.

Something just big enough for 2 of us and Digger if he's willing.

Anyway trawling through some adverts I found this and as it was only an hour and a half's drive away we went and viewed it.

I thought maybe the advert photos were a bit flattering of the dinghy but no, it was every bit as good as it looked so it didn't take long to agree a deal, dismantle the rigging and hook it up to our only vehicle with a towbar.

Once home the first job was to try and remember how it all went back together....

I have no dinghy experience by the way, but it all seemed fairly straight-forward and I think I've mostly got it right. And practicing in the quiet of one of our barns has got to be better than infront of others at the lake.

So now I've just got to learn to sail!
