The following list is to give you an indication as to what items are tested during an MOT. The list is only a brief summary of the actual procedures used and not all items apply to all vehicles. Also, dismantling of any part of the vehicle is not allowed during an MOT test, which means that hidden items cannot be seen or failed.
Driving in Europe has a serious side to it and the following is a note of the additional items that you need to carry with you to stay within the law.
Some items are pretty obvious such as your personal paperwork ie. passports and driving licences but others are not quite so.

I believe that the requirement for restricted speed stickers, only applies to commercial vehicles over 3.5T, and not to Motorhomes (Camping Cars). ;-) <br /><br />BTW, I noted that P&O were still pushing the sale of breathalyser kits in September 2013, even though they are not a lega......
