Club Motorhome is supporting Asthma UK in 2012
You may have noticed that we have a Donate button on some of our main pages.
We have chosen Asthma UK for personal reasons as our nephew who suffered with severe asthma was killed tragically at the age of 32 in a car accident in October 2011. His parents have set up a Lasting Memories Fund in his name with all the proceeds going to Asthma UK.
If you would like to donate to Asthma UK you can do so by using this button and completing the instructions on our donation page, it only takes a minute or two.
The donations collected via Club Motorhome will be passed on to this fund in their entirety (Paypal do deduct approximately 3.5% to process the donations)
Some key facts from Asthma UK:
For a limited time we are giving away free subscriptions to Club Motorhome - all we ask is that you submit 10 or more stopover locations for us to add to our growing directories.
This is for Aires and other stopover locations anywhere in Europe, including UK Pub Stopovers for pubs and other interesting locations that accept motorhomes overnight. An example of the way we display these stopovers can be seen here.
Submit 10 or more new stopovers with photo(s) = Free £12.50 Subscription
This offer is available ONCE per member.
If you already have a 'Lifetime' subscription we will give the free subscription to anyone that YOU nominate .
We have made some changes to our subscription software to enable registered (but not yet subscribed) users to use the forums in the same way that full members can. This means that guests (non registered visitors) can now only read the forums and not answer posts or create new ones.
Registration is required for all forum users together with a one-off contribution fee. If you haven't already, just click on the 'Register' button in the top menu and follow instructions - it only takes a minute!
Just click on the boxes above to see what is readily available on Club Motorhome. Other than visitor/guest access there is Full Membership which requires a modest subscription.
Club Motorhome is still a relatively young website having started from scratch at the very end of 2009. It's grown rapidly with most of its content being created, sourced and/or reproduced by the Admin team, the remainder of the website content has been submitted by its members - and there is far more in the pipeline!
Becoming a 'Full Member' means that you are helping and supporting the continued growth and development of Club Motorhome - which has enormous potential to become a leading information resource for motorhome owners and enthusiasts.
As a member there is no obligation to take an active part in the site but, as with any 'Club' environment, the more you put in the more you will get out of it. So please do consider contributing by way of stopover information, forum/chat input, feedback etc. There is information that explains what you can do to help continue to build this motorhome community here - Your Input
To join in and make use of all this information you can join by completing the registration form and following the instructions - it only takes a minute or two!

The Club Motorhome website has been designed to be easy and logical to navigate as possible. Like us, you may have found that many websites become cumbersome and disjointed as they grow spoiling the user's enjoyment to say the least!
With this in mind, we have provided you with more than one way to move around, and make the most of, this site.
Firstly, you can change the website language if required. Select your choice of European languages by clicking on the flags or drop-down selection box on the pages that this is available
Navigation buttons in the 'Main Menu' link you to the all-important 'Your Page', Members pages, Motorhome Forums, Pub Stopovers, Classifieds, Shop etc. Where appropriate these buttons open up when hovered over to reveal buttons leading to more sections.
Where the menu gets too deep for the height of your screen it is necessary to use your mouse wheel or arrow buttons to scroll down
You'll find that snippets of many articles can be read by non-members but in order to read the complete works the reader has to subscribe as a Full Member, much like having to 'buy' the magazine in a newsagent after browsing in order to read all it's content.
'Breadcrumbs' - A horizontal set of links that are below the top navigation buttons which keep track of your progress through the layers of the site and enable you to click back one or more steps if required.
A member's search facility which is accessed from the search boxes allowing you to search for any keyword or phrase that will lead to all articles, forum topics etc containing those words. This facility will only give complete results to Full Members.
Various 'modules' appear in the side margins throughout the website - these can take you directly to content that may be of interest to you eg. Latest Stopovers, Latest Article Comments, Latest Stopover Feedback, Latest Forum Posts, Random Classifieds, and Latest Blogs etc.
